I Would’ve Cheated On My Ex-Husband If He Did Not Give Me The Divorce’

Veteran musician Abena Serwaa Ophelia formerly known as Ophelia Nyantakyi has told Ghanaian blogger, Zionfelix that if her ex-husband has not granted her the divorce she yearned during the turbulent moment of their marriage, she would have cheated on him.

She said: “circumstances caused me to fall out of love so I initiated the breakup because I wanted to save my life for the sake of our children”.

The musician who is out with a new single, ‘Sing My Praise’ featuring Rose Adjei further revealed that her love for the ex-husband evaporated gradually into thin air owing to some actions of his she did not disclose.

Even though Abena Serwaa Ophelia and her ex-husband have been divorced for the past 12 years, she told Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut’ program that they have communication when necessary because they have children both have to cater for.

Abena Serwaa who doubles as a fashion designer shares three children with her ex-husband. The singer who is gearing up to mark her 20th year in the industry advised the youth to be prayerful before settling down.
